ELO Touchsystems USB Driver

Hi,
I've been trying to integrate the ELO Touchsystems USB driver into my XPe
system...
However, the components ELO provide 'depend' on a lot of stuff including
IE...
This makes the image about 70mb bigger (and way beyond the availible space
in the device.)
Does anyone have a component for the ELO touchscreens (USB not serial) that
doesn't have such a large footprint? (I don't need the calibration tools etc,
just the main driver).

The site for the touchscreens is here... http://www.elotouch.com/

Thanks.

(I have tried creating the component from the inf, but component designer
chucks a couple of errors when importing).

I believe there is a component on www.xpefiles.com for this. I haven't used
it, but it may be what you're looking for.

The only ELO drivers I've seen on xpefiles are for the serial devices, not
the USB ones....

Thanks.

Only got the Serial version, sorry. It would be tricky to make a
component correctly calibrated without access to the hardware... if you
leave out EloVa you'll not have the calibration... you could try ust not
resolving some of the dependencies.

I was kinda hoping it would work like the Microtouch one where the basic
install gives a 'reasonable' calibration which I then fine tune in my own
application by using the Raw input api...

I'll give the 'not resolving' option a try :)

I really doesn't help when I don't even have access to one of these units
(its a 'please support these monitors' request from a customer in another
country).

Ah yes, I get requests like that... 'why isn't this touchscreen
working?' 'where is it?' (expecting an answer like 'the downstairs test
room' 'Italy.'
The calibration depends... we have two types of screen here and the ones
ending in 9L are upside down compared to the ones ending 7L...

Hi,

I had the same trouble in the past...and I'm using the driver that came
with Windows XPE. It works just fine.
